Ray Drew is a wildlife photojournalist based in Canberra, Australia.
He has been a professional photographer for over forty years.
His photographic career began in the press field. He trained with The Canberra Times, and went on to work with The Australian, The Sunday Observer (Melbourne), The Australian Womens Weekly, Vogue Australia (Canberra rep), and many other national publications.
He has a BA (First Class Hons) in Communication (Media and Pro Writing), a Master of Arts in Communication (Canberra), and a Grad Cert in Psychoanalytic Studies (Deakin).
Over the last few years, Ray's special interest has been the photography of Australian wildlife in the wild. His aim is to show the intimate life of wild animals.
He is also a wildlife animal activist and a writer.
